Seven 8th grade Deer Lakes students are participating as a team in this year's "What's So Cool About Manufacturing" competition.

They will research ZOLL, a local manufacturing business, and partner with the company to develop a two-minute video answering the question, "What's So Cool About Manufacturing?"

The team of students will learn about the medical devices that ZOLL produces, including their life saving LifeVest! Recently, they were invited to tour ZOLL and learn firsthand about the life saving work done there. Soon, the students will begin to develop and film their video.
